Summer Ukulele Jam

July 8 | 10:30 - 11:45 AM

A Bring-Your-Own-Ukulele Jam Session -- whether you're a seasoned strummer or just starting out, this is your chance to have a blast with the most playful of instruments.

Library Happy Hour (ages 19+)

July 11 and August 15 | 7:00 - 9:00 PM

An after-hours celebration of community, creativity, and connection. Sip, mingle, and soak up the atmosphere with a cash bar, literary-inspired activities, and a live performance right in the stacks. Performers TBA. MUST REGISTER and be AGES 19+. 

Survive The Last Of Us (ages 19+)

July 18 | 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Survive the Apocalypse – in this after-hours game for ADULTS! Can you survive the zombie outbreak in The Last of Us? Teams of five and navigate the dark, eerie library while solving clues and completing challenges — all while trying to avoid the ravenous "infected" on your tail!

Discuss whatever it is you've been reading - a book, a magazine, a blog, or even a podcast! New members are welcome! Registration is required due to space constraints.

STAR (Summer Time Adult Reading) Challenge (18+)

July 2 to September 3

No registration is required for this reading challenge -- simply ask for a pick up your STAR card at the main desk. Let us how many library books you've read each time your visit (yes, audiobooks count) to get your card stamped. For every 5 stamps enter a prize draw. Online competitions for using the BiblioCommons catalogue will also take place separately for other prizes.
