Earth Day Film Screening: The Nettle Dress

LEGO Community Mosaic (all ages)
Build: Apr 22 - 30 | Display: May 1 - 9
Help us build a large-scale LEGO mosaic one tile at a time. From April 22 to 30, visitors can complete a small pre-designed LEGO tile that will become part of a collaborative community artwork. Each tile contributes to the final image, which will be displayed on the main floor from May 1 to 9. No LEGO experience required — just drop in and build. For ages 6+. For ages 0-5 visit the tinker table for Duplo Mosaic building.
Asian Heritage Month Art Exhibit

May is Asian Heritage Month in Canada. Enjoy an art exhibit featuring various artists of Asian heritage throughout the main floor.
The Tiny Art Project
Pick Up: May 1 - 31 | Main Floor + Tiny Art Reception: June 11 | 4:00 - 6:00 PM | Auditorium
Pick up a Tiny Art kit (includes 3x3 canvas, paintbrush, and acrylic paint) at the library's main desk, create a 3x3 canvas, and return it to the library by May 31 to have your work in a Tiny Art Reception on June 11.
