BiblioMake: Socratica Node (ages 14+)

An open collective of makers, artists, engineers, designers, writers, poets, and everything in-between -- coming together to work on our passion projects in a co-working atmosphere. Collaborate, share, and work alongside.
BattleBots (ages *9+)
JUNE 13 | 10:00 - 11:30 AM | Auditorium
Learn to design and create robots to compete in a challenge of epic proportions! No experience is necessary but be prepared for a deep dive into 3D CAD. Registration required.
Tabletop Gaming (ages *9+)

An afternoon of table top gaming and creation. Each week, we’ll dive into activities like building scenery, painting miniatures, and learning new games.
Dungeons & Dragons Night (ages *9+)

Our monthly D&D Night is the perfect place to start your quest -- for beginners to experienced adventurer! Join us on (usually) the 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Library Auditorium for an evening of creativity, strategy, and fun in a friendly and structured environment. All ages (9+) and all skills welcome.
Sewing Machine Basics (ages 18+)
JUNE 17 & 24 | 2:00 - 4:00 PM | Auditorium
A beginner friendly introduction -- participants can explore simple hands-on projects like pincushions and fabric envelopes while learning foundational sewing skills in a relaxed and creative environment. No previous sewing experience or registration required.

Monday Morning 3D Print Labs (ages *9+)
JULY 6, 13, & 20 | 10:30 - 11:00 AM | MakerSpace
Interested in 3d printing? Join us Mondays for hands-on sessions, where you’ll learn the basics of 3D Design and Printing. Drop-In (6 people room capacity.)
Block Printing (ages *11+)
JULY 7 & 21 | 2:00 - 4:00 PM | Auditorium
Create a custom block print on fabric over two weeks. Week 1: Create a custom stamp in 3D. Week 2: Use custom stamp on fabric. (Must register)
Teens Stitch This! (ages 12+)
JULY 8, 12 & 22 | 2:00 - 4:00 PM | Auditorium
A fun, drop-in, hands-on series where teens can explore different ways to work with fabric. Each week brings something new — whether it’s hand stitching, using sewing machines, or diving into a cool decorating project!
Multiverse (ages *6+)
AUG 24 - SEPT 3 | Various Dates/Times -- see main event page | Auditorium
Drop in to help build an interactive, large-scale model of our local landscape/cityscape. Using recycled materials, LEGO, robotics, and digital tools, this hands-on experience encourages creativity, sustainability, and STEAM learning while inspiring participants to envision and shape our community's future together.
LEGO Mosaic (ages *6+)
BUILD (Main & Lower Floor): AUG 24 - SEPT 4 | DISPLAY (Main Floor): SEPT 5 - SEPT 12
Help us build a large-scale LEGO mosaic one tile at a time. Visitors can complete a small pre-designed LEGO tile that will become part of a collaborative community artwork. Each tile contributes to the final image, which will be displayed on the main floor as it slowly builds, then for the following week.
