TALES & TRAILS: The Language of Birds
Follow the pages of The Language of Birds by Jon-Erik Lappano, illustrated by Zach Manbeck, along the Heritage Trails at the Stratford Perth Museum (4275 Huron Road, or 4275 Line 34, Stratford, ON). This self-directed Tales & Trails adventure blends literacy and nature, inviting visitors of all ages to explore the fascinating world of birds through discovery activities, scavenger hunts, listening stations, and interactive resources.
Learn even more about birds during your visit to the Stratford Perth Museum, where bird discovery resources are available to complement your Tales & Trails experience. Including: Bird Listening Station, Bird Calls resource, Bird Feeder Instructions, Bird Trivia Challenge.

Whale of a Tale
MONDAYS | SEPT 14 - DEC 28 | 6:30 - 7:30 PM
Join us for a lively interactive family literacy program packed with stories, songs, games, puppets, crafts and interactive learning centres -- whether you're snuggling up for story time, crafting a colourful creation or singing along to silly songs. Storytime from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, followed by crafts and maker activities. This free, drop-in program is fun for all ages -- everyone is welcome!
Baby Steps
WEDNESDAYS | SEPT 30 - NOV 25 | 10:00 - 11:00 AM
Bring your little ones and babies to the library to experience all kinds of fun surrounded by a group of friends! Join Diane and friends for interactive songs, rhymes, and bounces. Learn new ways to interact with your baby while connecting with other families. This free, drop-in program is geared to infants but older siblings are welcome too!
Story Starters

Come to the library and enter a world of magical picture books, new friends, songs and activities, and so much more with Story Starters. Join Beth and friends to learn, play, create, and explore. This free, drop-in program is geared to preschoolers but all ages are welcome.
