Novelist is a database that allows readers to search for their favourite authors or titles, and find others of similar interest. Users can browse theme-oriented book lists at every reading level through Explore Fiction, and look for outstanding titles in Best Fiction.
Explore NoveList! A subscription fiction database that provides you with genre information, reviews, annotations, “read-a-likes”, discussion questions and much more for over 120,000 fiction titles. It's like having your very own Public Service Librarian. And library card holders can access it FOR FREE!

Reading Challenges
Sometimes reading needs a little boost. Each year our Public Service Librarians create annual and seasonal reading challenges for grown-ups, to give your reading a kickstart and to offer fun incentives (like prizes).
No registration is required -- ask for a FALL INTO READING Bookmark at the main desk. Once you've read books from the 4 of our 8 suggested categories (yes, audiobooks count) bring your bookmark in to be entered into a draw. OCT 6 to NOV 30!
