Starting September 8th, join us for a night of building community... one move at a time.
Drop-in and gather on the main floor of the library, where all ages come together to enjoy a chill night of playing chess.
Library Assistant extraordinaire and chess enthusiast, Isaac, will be on site offering tea to participants, as well as his knowledge and enthusiasm. Let him know at the front service desk once you've arrived.
BYOB (bring your own board) --> If possible, bring your chess boards if they'll travel. We're slowly building our collection but we don't have many onsite yet. (Stay tuned -- we are building one in the Makerspace on the 3D printer.)
WHAT: Chess Knight at SPL
WHEN: Every Monday | 6:30-8:30 PM
WHO: Seniors, youth & everyone in between (youth under 12 must be accompanied by adult)
WHY: Because chess is awesome
