Teen Fall Volunteering

Teen Fall Volunteering

Score community service hours while having a blast this fall! We have some fantastic opportunities to fit your interests and schedule. These volunteer programs are for teens (14 - 18 years old) only.

Crafting for a Cause

Hone your crafting and making skills while helping local charities! Each month features a different project for a different organization. Pick up your kit with all the supplies and tools from the library within one week of its availability. Then, return the tools and completed project in time for the next month's kit! Projects this fall include fleece tie blankets, no-sew baby headbands, and etched drinking glasses.

Kit Pick-Up Dates (Please retrieve kit within 7 days of its release):

  • Thursday, September 21
  • Thursday, October 19
  • Thursday, November 16

Library Maker Crew

Help create our first Giant Board Game Night for families! Become an event coordinator apprentice to help plan, coordinate, and execute this program. Then, spend the last Thursday of November at the library helping families play giant versions of classic board games.

  • Meetings: Thursdays | Nov 2 - Nov 23 | 4-5 PM | Library Auditorium
  • Giant Board Game Night event: Thursday, November 30 | 5:30-8:30 PM
