Join us for THIS MASH UP! We're combining two events: Tales and Trails Celebration + Stratford Summer Music Carnival of Animals

 

Venture out for two FREE family events in one location, indoors and out, at Stratford Perth Museum

 

There's going to be everything from a petting zoo, live music, live readings, games and crafts -- AND our Story Trail. Stratford Summer Music is working with the Stratford Public Library, Rotary Club of Stratford and Stratford Perth Museum to bring you this wild affair.

Discover our Tales & Trails book -- and a kaleidoscope of magic to be found in your very own home. Join us for the celebration with activities, crafts and games inspired by Author Idris Goodwin's book Your House is Not Just a House. (in partnership with SPL, Rotary Club of Stratford and Stratford Perth Museum)

And join us at Carnival of the Animals Stratford Summer Music Event -- with family-friendly music, stories, and a petting zoo. 

Stratford Summer Music's "family series" is kicking off with Saint-Saens' charming and humorous musical suite, Carnival of the Animals--complete with a petting zoo afterwards! This delightful score will come to life in the hands of the extraordinary two-piano Bergmann Duo, with multi-talented rapper and poet Idris Goodwin as narrator (author of Your House is Not Just a House). Evincing lions, kangaroos, a swan (how Stratford!) and more, this performance is sure to delight. 

 

Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets to get comfy as you enjoy the show.
