Join us every Tuesday afternoon in our front garden for Paws 4 Stories, a heartwarming, tail-wagging, program where children can practice reading aloud to gentle, certified therapy dogs from St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog program.

Reading to a non-judgmental, furry listener helps build confidence, fluency and a love of books -- all in a calm, supportive space.

While waiting for your turn to read, enjoy fun literacy activities, crafts and games. Plus, start your very own bookmark collection -- a special gift to you from the Therapy Dogs.

  • Tuesdays | July 8 - Aug 12 | 4:00 - 5:00 PM | SPLibrary Front Garden

Open to children of all reading levels. Free to attend -- no registration required. Special thanks to our in credible St. John Ambulance therapy dog teams for making this program possible!

For all programs, children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
