Join SPL and the Stratford-Perth Museum for PA Day adventures! We're celebrating our beautiful Tales & Trails book selection The Language of Birds by local author Jon-Erik Lappano -- found on the Heritage Trails of the Stratford-Perth Museum -- while exploring our winged friends for a PA Day morning of exploration, learning and fun!
And we're very excited to announce that Jon-Erik will be joining us on that day to lead Storytime with a reading of The Language of Birds. He's also bringing a signed copy of the book to give away as a door prize.
Expect loads of bird-themed activities, including:
- Bird Nest Building
- Bird Feeder Making
- Scavenger Hunt
- Bird Trivia
- Storytime (with The Language of Birds & songs)
- Creative crafty activities
- Play opportunities
- Snacks
- And more!
The morning is geared for families with younger children, preschool through grade 3, but babies, toddlers, and kids of all ages are welcome.
