Join us for a screening of the film The Librarians, hosted by the Stratford Film Festival.
The Librarians (2025) is a documentary that follows librarians across the United States as they respond to a growing wave of book bans and censorship. Facing public pressure, political scrutiny, and personal threats, they work to protect access to diverse ideas and uphold the freedom to read.
There are two showings, at 4:00 and 7:00 PM and film runs for 90 minutes with time for the Q&A afterwards.
SPL will be on site with a resource table, sharing more info around this important subject -- as well as take part in a Q&A following both screenings.
May 9 | 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM | 📍 Stratford City Hall
