Looking for a way to make reading more fun? Reading Buddies is a fun and engaging program where children read and play games with a trained volunteer who sparks their excitement for reading! With a focus on building interest, confidence and comfort in reading, teen & adult buddies encourage young readers in a supportive, welcoming and playful environment.
Kids get to choose the books they read and the games they play -- putting their joy and interest at the heart of the experience.
Our Winter Session begins January 13 and runs to March 3. You choose your time slot.
Reading Buddies | Tuesdays
- 4:00 - 4:30 PM
- 4:30 - 5:00 PM
This program is most effective when participants read together weekly, so children are encouraged to attend for the full 8 weeks. Registration is required, and spots fill up quickly.
