Teens – It’s Back for Summer! Craft for a Cause!
Ready to craft, create, and give back? This summer, teens can earn volunteer hours by making handmade items for local charities, all from the comfort of home! Each month features a new project with a different organization.
How it Works:
- Pick up a kit with all the supplies and tools from the library within one week of its release.
- Create your project at home.
- Return the completed project and tools in time for next month’s kit!
Summer Projects:
- July: Handbound Notebooks (for House of Blessing)
- August: Project TBA (Stay tuned!)
Kit Pick-Up Dates:
- Tuesday, July 8 (Handbound Notebooks)
- Tuesday, August 5 (TBA)
Fill out the volunteer application by June 20th and be sure to check the Teen Programs checkbox. You must be in grades 9-12 to participate (grade 9 students eligible for volunteer hours). Kits are available for pick-up within 7 days of release!
