Let's get crafty this holiday season. Whether it's a way to reduce stress, embrace the indoors, or make gifts and decor from scratch, we're here for you this month. Feeling stressed? Come to our Intro to Meditation with Irene Roth on December 2 and start your month right!

Bring a holiday craft project to work on with like-minded makers. Disconnect from everyday routines and reconnect through no or low-tech crafting and making. Simple holiday projects also provided, as well as light refreshments.
Dec 9 | 2:00 - 3:30 PM | REGISTER HERE
Join us for some festive upcycling as we cut, fold, glue, colour and more, using old book pages! Create sustainable decor, gift wrap, and other fun projects as we give old books new life for the holidays.
WINTER BREAK FOR KIDS
Chase boredom away with creative activities and community connection for all ages. Activities are drop-in and located in the Auditorium.

It's the perfect way to burn off that extra holiday energy and kick off a joyful countdown! Once Upon a New YearDec 30 | 2:00 - 3:00 PM Festive crafts, fun New Year's activities, music, games and a photo booth to capture the magic -- and a great practice run for small children to learn about ringing in the new year. |

MOVIE NIGHT IN A BAG
Family Movie Night -- no assembly required!
Each week, receive three specially selected movies from a genre of your choice, some fun games, and of course popcorn!
Return the movies to the library in time for the next bag, but keep everything else! Pick up December 16, 23, and 30.
HOLIDAY COLLECTIONS
At Stratford Public Library, our holiday collection of books, DVDs, digital books, puzzles and more is VAST. There is nothing more delightful than curling up with a cozy holiday read or snuggling on the sofa with loved ones to catch a nostalgic (or new) holiday film.

November 22 - December 23 | Collect 8 stickers from SPL and participating Downtown businesses and be entered into a draw for Downtown Dollars. Pop in, check-out a book, renew your card, or browse, and receive a sticker for your passport on either floor. Complete our Winter Wander-land Scavenger Hunt while you're here.
GIVE BACK THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Tis the season of giving and we're proud to be the recipient of such a generous community. It is thanks to you that we're able to offer snack foods, non-perishables, some perishables, and reusable menstrual products at our Snack Stop. Your support for all that we do matters. Your donations help fund priority needs not covered by your tax dollars and make a difference for everyone coming through the doors of the library. By volunteering we're able to do more and reach more of you.

Giving Tuesday is December 2, and this year we're accepting non-perishable food donations OR cash donations for our Snack Stop all week long.
Libraries are important hubs! You can support us by donating time and dollars!! Each dollar you give and each hour of your time spent helps us provide incredible programming, vital community services, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
