Drop n' Swap: Books Edition returns this fall. Let's Share the Love! Drop off your unwanted books, find some "new-to-you" ones to take home.
Join SPL’s sustainability effort to keep unwanted books out of our landfill -- clear out your collection, share books that deserve a second chance, and discover new-to-you literary treasures. Free to drop, free to “shop” - no money exchanged at all, no dropping necessary for swapping!
Drop Off Dates/Times:
- Thursday Sept 18 | 5:00 - 8:00 PM
- Friday Sept 19 | 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Swap Date/Times:
- EARLY BIRD ACCESS: Saturday Sept 20 | 10:00 - 10:30 AM (for book donors only)
- GENERAL ADMISSION: Saturday Sept 20 | 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Only books in good condition will be accepted:
- YES: Fiction, popular nonfiction in great shape (all books are thoroughly vetted)
- NO: musty, moldy, smelly books, old textbooks or outdated health information
Donations:
- If you donate items, you will receive an Early Bird ticket that will let you in at 10:00 AM on Saturday for first crack at the swap -- with no Early Bird ticket, you may enter at 10:30
- Donations are NOT required to attend the swap, but book donors will be given an early bird ticket!
