In Indigenous cultures, "sharing circles promote equality, trust, respect, honesty, dialog, decision-making, and a sense of community. In a circle, we are all equal. No one in front of you, no one behind you, no one above you and no one below you." (passthefeather.ca)
Join Hannah and Erin weekly on Tuesday afternoons at McLagan Park (McLagan Drive between John and St. Vincent Streets) to learn together about Indigenous teachings, stories, games and art. All are welcome in the circle. If it rains, The Sharing Circle will be held in the Library Auditorium.
For all programs, children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
